Master Chief Jason Schaefer has decided to come out of a 30 year military retirement to join an already successful team here at Classic Coatings. He is in training to take over as the Plant Manager at our Two Rivers facility. Jason is originally from Crowley Louisiana and married his bride Diana from Sheboygan WI, 26 years ago. They have two boys Ocean and Lucian that are still getting used to him being home from many deployments around the world. Jason is a Gulf War Veteran that brings many experiences to our company. We look forward to him helping us become a better company.

Almost 2 years ago we installed a new stage 5 wash system in our Sheboygan plant. In order to provide the best quality that we can, we have ordered a 6th stage that will give the parts a final rinse of pure reverse osmosis water. This will enhance our salt spray test results and eliminate any potential water spotting. This addition to our washer was installed in July 2023.

Classic Coatings Sheboygan plant has installed a new state of the are 6 stage wash system manufactured by PEM Industries. This replaces the 3 stage washer that has been there for many years. With this new washer we run two alkaline cleaning stages two R/O rinse stages and zirconium sealer in stage 5. With this new system installed we have confidence that we can get salt spray tests that will meet your customers requirements.

Classic Coatings now has a system in place to remove laser scale on steel parts at our Two Rivers plant. This is an extra, over and above, our painting costs and is only offered if the customer specifically asks for it. This system works quite well but is limited to parts that are no bigger than about 2’ x 3’. We hope to be able to enlarge this in the near future to take larger parts. If this is something that you need don’t hesitate to ask your salesman or customer rep about this.

I live in Manitowoc with my fiancé Justin, and our 5yr old son Calum. I also have a 19yr old son Warren, and 2 step-children: Blake- 19 and Libby-15. I come from an incredibly fast-paced medical accounting background, so I am learning the manufacturing world and trying to get used to the slower pace. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, making as many memories as possible. – Time goes SO fast! Looking forward to my future with Classic Coatings!
